Introduction

I decided to put this on the net because I can't figure out what else to do with it after a couple of attempts at writing a book that I can't manage to bring to the level of popularized science, along with several unfinished papers that don't even begin to address the scope of this. Maybe that will happen, but I don't know when as I learn something new and important about this every day.

People have pondered their existence in this universe since we have been keeping records, because it is very natural to ask if there is some reason behind this thing that we call "life". While this is generally considered to be more of a question of philosophy, rather than a hard science, it can become a question for these branches if it can be shown that humans have a real purpose in nature that is linked to the physics of the universe, and this idea has been defined and proposed throughout the history of cosmology, by way of hard nagging facts, which indicate that this is indeed a possibility. Make that, "Highly Probable", if the actual causal mechanism that gives rise to the cosmic coincidences that define the Anthropic Principle can be identified, because this means that the coin of probability is inherently biased by grand-scale anthropic or biocentric prejudice.

In this context it is expected that a Theory of Everything will include a sentient connection that necessarily explains our purpose in this world, and it has also been long known that the Grand Unified Theory should be contained within the Theory of Everything, as well, and so the forces of the universe are expected to be "unified" by this theory.

Many outstanding problems of science are very apparently solved by the new physics, which is readily supported by General Relativity and Particle Theory, but the more rigorous mathematical formalizations are still a very important aspect to all of this and I cannot possibly handle ALL of it by myself anyway, but that level of rigor is not necessary to make the validity of the physics apparent to the average reader, as it is supported by enough hard science to make it "interesting" to researchers.

All of which can be done simply by showing exposing "the writing on the wall", and I'll throw out some obvious avenues of pursuit while making a few reccommendations for the types of papers that interested parties might research.

However, if we discover a complete theory, it should in time be understandable by everyone, not just by a few scientists. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists and just ordinary people, be able to take part in the discussion of the question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God.
