Ants

I have always wondered

The fate of the worker ants.

They are very industrious

And they do not complain.

They are strong and able

Carrying food of so much weight

Without fear and hesitant

Just to please the Queen Ant.

Maybe we will fare better

If we be like the ants.

So we will not regret later

When we meet our end.

Cosmic splendour

God created beautiful sights,

By the days and by the nights.

Even in the moonlight.

Serenity splendour for our delight,

Will never cease to enrapture The Bright.

The rocks on the mountains,

The water from the fountains.

Even the leaves falling from the trees,

Brings much sprightly kinetic energy.

A world of naturally systematic symphony.

God created the Heavens and the earth,

And all that is between them, not for a mere play

God sends down rain from the sky

Bringing forth fruits as provision for all Humanity.

By God's will the world is sanitize and healthy.

God created thunder and lightning.

The sun and the moon constantly pursuing.

Truly God is swift in reckoning.

None remembers but those who turn to God in obedience.

None remembers but those who turn to God in appreciation.

None remembers but those who turn to God in submission.

A vivid dream

I savour the aromatic angelica

And pluck the flowers of lobelia

Whilst sitting under the witch-hazel

Listening to the songs of the nightingale.

A hummingbird perched under the shade

Echoing the songs the nightingale made.

As I nibble upon a date

A resounding peace, there was no hate.

With my very eyes I saw a wallaby

Serenading a melodious lullaby

To her new born baby

The scenery makes me happy.

Suddenly a scavenger appears.

The wallaby was petrified with fear.

Her baby was her first concerned

Clutching to her chest her immediate reaction.

None was near to intervene

I could here both of them scream.

The baby was wrenched with so much force

Red blood fell as it was tossed.

It devours the meat hungrily

Its provocative glee disappears abruptly.

Like lightning a thunderbolt struck.

The scavenger is dead and it wasn't luck.

The rain pours down on to the earth.

Cold and shivering I was still immersed

The water drops glisten like sapphire

Awoken it was only my perspire.

 Birds

Birds of flight

What a beautiful sight

Doves all white

Spectacular and bright.

With wings they can fly

Soaring up to the sky

But I wonder why

The Cassowary cannot fly?

Peacocks are beautiful

Feathers all colourful

A bird’s eye view

Ceaseless blue too!

The migration of birds

Is a miraculous feat

Change of season

Another place for seat.

Penguins and Pelicans

Hawks, eagles, and Falcons

Population dwindling

Endangered species spine chilling.

Life is such bliss

I am sure they could but wish

Living peacefully

Without clash with anybody.
