Evening shadows

In the evening shadows I walk on the lonely pavement

Looking for who knows what

I think on those now gone and am lost in bereavement

Is this all just a fateful plot

Shimmering moonlight casting an ethereal shadow

Scary almost in its glimmer

Lost in the thoughts of ones gone I find that I wallow

In sadness I seem to simmer

Winds blowing in the trees, bending their branches

Whistling a lonesome tune

The years now all gone as are all those lost chances

Is all that's left now only doom

Clip, clop my footsteps say making an eerie sound

In rhythmic notes are they

Who knows why or who knows where they are bound

They have forgotten how to play

Darkness creeps into my mind as shadows increase

There is a coldness there

These thoughts of yesteryears now take over the lease

And does not play fair

Here in the shadows of a tangled web of troubles past

That linger in my mind

Come in haunting memories of a life that could not last

Is where you will me, find...........

Morning Dew

She wakes

at

dawn

her petals

unfolding

Morning dew

in

droplets

touchingly

refreshing

She smiles

in

secret

her passion

replete

Dawn

has

broken

morning

now

awoken

Oceanwinds

Gentle Breeze upon a lonely sea

Come by here and play with me

Winds of time come play a tune

Whilst I gaze upon yonder moon

Current of air drifting softly by

Come and teach me how to fly

Breath of the air breath on me

Bring the saltiness from the sea

Zephyr blowing from the west

Putting my senses to the test

Ocean wind caress my cheek

Your contact is what I seek

Sands of time upon the wind

With memories I can’t rescind

Playful breeze touch my skin

Come ease this ache deep within

Passions gained

Passions gained from a life of love

We write them on the clouds above

Wild as the stallions in the ocean

Ecstatic in their rambling motion

Free as the seabirds that soar high

Gentle as the wave that roll on by

Rugged like rocks jutting from the sea

Soft as a maidens most tender plea

Shadows of contentment across a path

Sated in the passion of sexual aftermath

Kisses rampant in wild abandonment

Bodies locked in intermingling contentment

The light of love casting down on arousal

Never knowing the darkness of a refusal

Riding on waves of loves timely ocean

Senses now reeling with its heady potion
