Edge of the Rainbow- Part 1

Meet me at the
edge of the rainbow
where dreams
always come true.

Dine with me
there, as Angelic
rhapsodies merge
within our souls
where love is always new.

There between the
reds, yellows and
the blue,
lets hold each other
and forget time.

Sing to me where
the green meets
the orange and
our hearts beat as one.

Let me look upon
you
as pastels turn to
violent hues
where lemon drops and
strawberry scents
blend and our souls
touch eternity.

Let us walk,
on the rainbow's edge
where our bodies ignore
the limitation of life,
our minds ignore the
limitations of thought,
and our love ignores the
limitations of complacency.

Listen to the sound
of stars caressing
the sky, as the rain
slices through the air,
as the sun licks the earth
and as we discover new
ways to love - there
on the edge of the rainbow.

The Splendor of it all

Rainfalls, lightening flashes,

thunder rolls against the

desert of destruction.

Blinded passions,

soured futures,

lost against the

pain of tomorrow’s

that just won’t come.

But in the midst

of that storm

see the rainbow,

and ask the question

where is the joy?

On the eve

of destruction

create new continuums,

dreams do come true,

reality is what

we make it to be,

love, life and being

wrapped in kernel of

hope your heart.

Open up

let it flow,

let it grow,

all the craziness

will have to go.

You can work it out

you can see it glow,

you can make it you.

When was

the last time

you had a dream

lived out a fantasy,

woke-up to the miracle.

When was

the last time

you walked on faith,

saw the hope,

and experienced the wonder of it all.

Go back

Relive the moments

recreate positive atmospheres

the possibilities inherent in all,

the splendor of the universe

and your place in it.

When was the last time?

Love created, then dispatched throughout the universe. Now stands at the
gate of my soul and asks when was the last time?

When was the last time you experienced a deep love -
A love that rocked the very foundation of your soul?
When was the last time that you laughed so hard that you cried?
Or cried so hard that you laughed?

Thinking back, can you recall the last time you just sat
watching clouds race across a clear blue sky
and looked deep to see the face of one you loved?

Running against the wind, when was the last
time you decided to take off from work
just to surprise someone with "I love you"?

Late, the only sounds from the owl
searching through the night.
Sound of trees rustling against
the sides of the house.
When was the last time you
just laid there listening to the breath of your lover,
getting caught up in the moment?

Remember, laying your head against their
chest, after that time of love
listening to their heart beat
against the walls of desire
as your body continues to quake.
Looking into those eyes longing to
kiss and taste their love ever more.
When was the last time?

Long, long, long
time ago
looking deep
into those eyes
seeing oceans
of possibilities.

Looking across a room,
Feeling their presence,
Smiling for they weren't
There, but enjoying them
nevertheless.

Amidst a carnival of desires
Seeing their face
Choosing them over all others,
Beauty personified in just that one,
tenderness, and just a kiss away from
ecstasy.

When was the last time
you told them that you loved them,
Knowing that they were mere words
that captured not the essence of it all
incomplete, so insignificant and far
from what was actually meant
lost in the moment
fumbling for words
and all you could come up with was
"I love you" which you repeated
over, over, and over again.

Throughout the day
phone rings, knocks on the door,
books fall, robins sing
and the thought of them
would cross your mind,
repeatedly.

Wonderfully, missing them,
terrified that they
would not be
there.

Anxiously awaiting
the time to come.
When was the last time?

Staying up all night
just talking,
holding hands,
kissing
feeling their
body next to yours

Staying up just
a minute longer
because the sun soon
will make its appearance,
never running out of something to say.
When was the last time?
