Oh Wonderous Tree...

Oh wonderous tree, I can hear your call
Eminating from inside
Oh marvellous tree, so wise, standing tall
What secrets do you hide

Silently I watch, I listen and I can hear
And I can feel your pain
My heart beats heavy as you tell me your fears
My tears pour like rain

I sense your soul, it reaches out for me
It touches my soul
I hear your faint whisper, your desperate plea
To make you whole

Our souls entwine with a tender embrace
I let my love flow
Your wounds start to heal, I feel warmth on my face
And once again you glow

I thank you my tree, my friend standing free
For the love that you give
I will cherish you always, oh wonderous tree
For as long as I live

The Four Seasons...

As pure and sweet as Spring morning dew

A child is born, so innocent and new

Eager to learn as his childhood unfurls

Preparing to find his place in this world

As Summer sets in, he has learnt all he can

The boy leaves the nest, he’s now a young man

As time passes on he finds his foothold

And the rest of his life begins to unfold

As Autumn arrives, he’s built his own nest

The man has worked hard and it’s time to rest

He has lived a full life and now the man knows

That the time will soon come for him to go

As the time draws near, he sits back and sighs

And with no regrets, he closes his eyes

The old man departs with the Winter rain

And so the cycle starts over again...
