From Birth To Earth.

My life begins in the spring.
I grow big and green.
I shade the creatures of the earth,
I clean the air they breath.
In the summer I'm at my best, I watch the birds in their nests.
In the hottest days of August, my color changes from green to golden.
As September approaches, I fade to brown.
I am waiting for Autumn.
In October, I let go of my branch.
That nourished me, and born me ,since the spring.
I finally fall to mother earth.
It is my turn to nourish.
I am the leaf, that started as a bud.
I have purpose.
I live on.

The Life In Darkness.

As twighlight light dies.
Darkness falls.
Stars shine, like diamonds.
The air turns cool.
Dampness falls.
Then shadows surround us.
Close your eyes.
An hear the night.
When crickets sing, and bat wings bring the sounds of the darkness, and
its life.

The Haunting Wind.

Do you hear it?

The whispers in the wind?

The moaning and the crying.

The violent's of the howling.

Do you feel?

The fingers in the breeze?

They caress about your face.

The secrets unseen.

Do you see?

The shadows?

The spirits of the past.

The ancient lessons?

The future's destiny?

The presents of what will die, and what will last?

Here in the breeze, the haunting.

Butterfly

If I were a butterfly, I would be beautiful.
If I were a butterfly, I would shine.

If I were a butterfly, I could fly.

Once upon a time, I was a butterfly.
I flew, I shined and I was beautiful inside and out.

But now I lay, in a case.
Pinned up with ribbons and faded lace.

My wings are brittle.
My color has faded.

I lay in display,
Of the life I once made.

My body is lifeless.
My soul is trapped.

Once I was a butterfly and was more then that.
