My Garden of Delight

Come with me to my garden
tis enchanting in the sunlight
and I will pleasure you
with a little afternoon delight

Let's lay beside the oak tree
with the honeysuckle all around
The sparrows will sing to us sweetly
for my love has no bounds

The dragonflies sail above us
a sweet whisper heard in the trees
your scent amidst the white roses
is intoxicating as a twilight breeze

Let me caress you so warmly
while the sunbeams dazzle your skin
hold me, touch me, make love to me
and I'll shower you with kisses again

Scattered Leaves

In the coolness of the autumn
leaves scattered by the winds
the time for change is nearing
as life's cycle ebbs and blends

As the leaves once brightly green
turn to shades of amber gold
so must your life now travel
down paths that will unfold

The mysteries of mother nature
she keeps hidden in her heart
as you must keep the warmth you felt
before your love did depart

Do not fear the ashes, just remember
that they give back to the earth
as the leaves that slowly burn become
the golden crystals needed for Spring's rebirth

It is a very good sign
that within you no hate dwells
you must treasure and savor all
the goodness that had cast it's spell

So when autumn leaves are swirling
round incessantly in your mind
look inside your heart and you'll know
that love is there for you to find

The Elusive Dragonfly

She haunts the memories in my heart
whispering through my garden flowers
then comes to awaken my soul
with the tolling of the midnight hour

Swirling sensations she senses
with her kiss upon my cheek
feathery soft touches upon my breasts
a fever soon eclipses each peak

Silently she yearns to dance
singing sweetly with no reason or rhyme
my skin, her canvas to paint upon
as we savor becoming lost in time

September rains

September rains
holding hands in the mist
with a soft gentle breeze
lost in a moment of bliss

Drenched skin to skin
In an embrace of warm satin
the smiles from both of us
expectations of what might happen

Tender sweet caresses
on rain drizzled lips
a dance of enchantment
that began with a kiss

The rain finally is over
shimmering stars up above
it’s now the midnight hour
time for tender sweet love

Lost

The sandpiper whispers
his throat parched with the sand
he no longer can search for treasures
the ocean's tides never reach the land

The moon-blood red,
the sky is pure white
the stars have all vanished
no longer is there a night

The clouds have all sighed
the winds don't whistle in the trees
the sun shimmers no more
and just sank into the sea

The ocean is tempest tossed
no longer sings it's song
and all of this happened
when I woke and you were gone

Lost and alone each hour
every minute of the day
wondering how could you
just leave me and go away

Silently I walk the shore
a lonely butterfly flutters by
and whispers, Come with me
I know a place where you can cry

He took me to the edge
where the ocean used to flow
saying, unleash your heart
it will free your soul

The pain slivers my heart
the tears drizzle the sand
and I wait, barely breathing
for you to come and take my hand
