- (18.) Talk with slides on 'Birding Around the World' by Mr. Peter Kaestner, Diplomat and Amateur Birder, in Conference Room 1, at 6.30 p.m. on 18 March 2008. The Cundinamarca Antpitta (Grallaria kaestneri) is named after him.
- (17.) On 14, 15, 16 March 2008 ten members of the IIC Nature Group went to Corbett Park by car, with T. K. Sajeev of the BNHS, Bombay. The visit included Bijrani, Dhikala, Corbett's Summer Home, and Work Place at Choti Haldwani. Great Stay and Great Food. In the evenings we had slide shows and lively discussions. Review soon.
