Frequently Asked Questions
Question I do not have a perfect body. I have had surgery, and I am over weight. Will I feel out of place with a bunch of "perfect hard bodies" staring or making fun of me?
Answer Absolutely not! First, everyone has a perfect body. It is the body you inhabit 24 hours a day, every day of your life, and it serves you well. Do you look like a "pin-up" model (male or female)? Probably not, but then, how many people do you know personally who qualify? The NCB (as is true in most nudist clubs) is made up of a diverse group of people representing diverse ages, cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Our members come in all shapes, sizes and ages. We accept you for who you are. The first step in an enjoyable nudist experience is being OK with yourself.

Question I am a single woman. Will I feel safe? I don't want to be "stalked after", stared at or "hit on".
Answer The chances of being inappropriately "hit on", etc. are much less than most public functions you currently attend. In a naturist environment, people are more respectful than in most textile public settings. No means no and inapproporiate behavior is not tolerated! You can relax and be yourself without fear!

Question May a married person attend without their partner?
Answer Generally NO! Naturism is a family activity and should be enjoyed together. For additional information contact the club directly.

Questio
n Is this a safe and healthy activity to bring my children too?
Answe
r Absolutely! Children are the most natural nudist of all. They learn and practice respect for the "person" instead of the facade. Living in an open, honest nudist environment helps to educate children and dispel the myths and curiosities they have about "growing up". Naturists look out for the children. It is truly a very safe and healthy environment for children of all ages. Also see our page on family naturism for additional resources!

Questio
n Do I have to be nude if I am not comfortable?
Answe
r The NCB is a nudist club (not clothing optional) everyone is expected to be nude health and weather permitting. Newcomers are allowed an adjustment peoiod not to exceed their second visit. If you are not comfortable in the nude environment, you probably should not be there!

Question
Just what do you do at your NUDE functions?
Answer The same things other people do  at NON-Nude functions...
We swim, soak in the hot tub, participate in pot luck parties, play bingo, cards and other table games, play volleyball, take hikes, campout, go to a nude beach, enjoy great conversation with friends, watch football ot TV, etc. We just do it NUDE!!!

Question I've heard that you are all swingers and you have sex orgies.
Answer Absolutely NOT! The NCB is a NON- SEXUAL, family oriented organization. We maintain high moral standards based on Christian principles. We do not allow or tolerate sexual behavior at club functions.
We set our standards for touching and displaying affectionate behavior to the same standard, or higher, than at a fully clothed family oriented public environment.
