The group continues to go from strength to strength after being named joint winners of the prestigious "Woodwinds on Fire" Competition, held by leading International Jazz Magazine JAZZIZ in 1996, and judged by top international artists Michael Brecker and Eddie Daniels.
In July of 2000, they were invited to play at the 34th Montreux Jazz Festival, where they received a fantastic response from both the audience and festival organisers. They expect to be featured again there next year, and aim to play at a number of other European festivals throughout 2001.
The line-up comprises top UK musicians Hilary Ashe-Roy on flute, Phil Bond on keyboards & accordion, Paul Brook on drums & percussion, and Alan Corbet on piano and additional keyboards, as well as other invited artists on bass and guitar.
The band's diverse musical background gives it a unique sound which appeals to music lovers of all ages and tastes.
