Alabama Sec. 13A-6-68: Lewdness  Sec. 13A-6-68, Indecent exposure. (a) A person commits the crime of indecent exposure if, with intent to arouse or gratify sexual desire of himself or of any person other than his spouse, he exposes his genitals under circumstances in which he knows his conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm in any public place or on the private premises of another or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises.
Sec. 13A-12-130: Lewdness, affrontal, intended insult Sec. 13A-12-130, Public lewdness. (a) A person commits the crime of public lewdness if: (1) He exposes his anus or genitals in a public place and is reckless about whether another may be present who will be offended or alarmed by his act; or (2) He does any lewd act in a public place which he knows is likely to be observed by others who would be affronted or alarmed.
Alaska Sec. 11.41.460: Intentional Insult Sec. 11.41.460. Indecent Exposure. (a) An offender commits the crime of indecent exposure if the offender intentionally exposes the offender's genitals to another person with reckless disregard for the offensive, insulting, or frightening effect the act may have on that person.
Arizona 13-1402: Intentional Insult 13-1402. Indecent exposure. A. A person commits indecent exposure if he or she exposes his or her genitals or anus or she exposes the areola or nipple of her breast or breasts and another person is present, and the defendant is reckless about whether such other person, as a reasonable person, would be offended or alarmed by the act.

  It shall be unlawfull for any person, club, camp, corporation, partnership, association, or organization to advocate, demonstrate, or promote nudism, or for any person to rent, lease, or otherwise permit his land, premises, or buildings to be used for the purpose of advocating, demonstrating, or promoting nudism.
California Penal Code Section 314: Lewdness Penal Code Section 314. Every person who willfully and lewdly, either: 1. Exposes his person, or the private parts thereof, in any public place, or in any place where there are present other persons to be offended or annoyed thereby; or, 2. Procures, counsels, or assists any person so to expose himself or take part in any model artist exhibition, or to make any other exhibition of himself to public view, or the view of any number of persons, such as is offensive to decency, or is adapted to excite to vicious or lewd thoughts or acts, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Colorado 18-7-302: Intentional Affront 18-7-302, Indecent Exposure. (1) A person commits indecent exposure if he knowingly exposes his genitals to the view of any person under circumstances in which such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to the other person.
Connecticut Sec. 53a-186: Lewdness, Sexual Intercource Sec. 53a-186, Public indecency. (a) A person is guilty of public indecency when he performs any of the following acts in a public place: (1) An act of sexual intercourse as defined in subdivision (2) of section 53a-65; or (2) a lewd exposure of the body with intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of the person; or (3) a lewd fondling or caress of the body of another person. For the purposes of this section, ``public place'' means any place where the conduct may reasonably be expected to be viewed by others.
Delaware Title 11 Section 764 & 765: Intentional affront Title 11 Section 764. (a) A male is guilty of indecent exposure in the second degree if he exposes his genitals or buttocks under circumstances in which he knows his conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to another person. (b) A female is guilty of indecent exposure in the second degree if she exposes her genitals, breast or buttocks under circumstances in which she knows her conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to another person.
  Title 11 Section 765. (a) A male is guilty of indecent exposure in the first degree if he exposes his genitals or buttocks to a person who is less than 16 years of age under circumstances in which he knows his conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm. (b) A female is guilty of indecent exposure in the first degree if she exposes her genitals, breast or buttocks to a person who is less than 16 years of age under circumstances in which she knows her conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm.
Florida Chapter 800.03: Vulgar or Indecent manner Chapter 800.03, Exposure of sexual organs. It is unlawful to expose or exhibit one's sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner, or to be naked in public except in any place provided or set apart for that purpose.
Georgia 16-6-8: Sexual Intercource, Lewdness 16-6-8, Public Indecency. (a) A person commits the offense of public indecency when he or she performs any of the following acts in a public place: (1) An act of sexual intercourse; (2) A lewd exposure of the sexual organs; (3) A lewd appearance in a state of partial or complete nudity; or (4) A lewd caress or indecent fondling of the body of another person.
Hawaii 707-734: Intentional Affront 707-734, Indecent exposure. A person commits the offense of indecent exposure if, the person intentionally exposes the person's genitals to a person to whom the person is not married under circumstances in which the actor's conduct is likely to cause affront.
Idaho 18-4116: Lewdness, Intentional affront 18-4116, Indecent Exposure. Every person who willfully and lewdly, either: (1) Exposes his or her genitals, in any public place, or in any place where there is present another person or persons who are offended or annoyed thereby; or, (2) Procures, counsels, or assists any person so to expose his or her genitals, where there is present another person or persons who are offended or annoyed thereby is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Illinois 720 ILCS 5/11-9: Lewdness 720 ILCS 5/11-9, Public Indecency. (a) Any person of the age of 17 years and upwards who performs any of the following acts in a public place commites a public indecency: (2) A lewd exposure of the body done with intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of the person.
Indiana *** 35-45-4-1: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness  35-45-4-1 Section 1. (a) A person who knowingly or intentionally, in a public place: (1) engages in sexual intercourse; (2) engages in deviate sexual conduct; (3) appears in a state of nudity; or (4) fondles the genitals of himself or another person; commits public indecency, a Class A misdemeanor. (b) ``Nudity'' means the showing of the human male or female genitals, pubic area, or buttocks with less than a fully opaque covering, the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering of any part of the nipple, or the showing of covered male genitals in a discernibly turgid state.
Iowa 709.9: Lewdness, Intentional Affront 709.9, Indecent exposure. A person who exposes the person's genitals or pubes to another not the person's spouse, or who commits a sex act in the presence of or view of a third person, commits a serious misdemeanor, if: 1. The person does so to arouse or satisfy the sexual desires of either party; and 2. The person knows or reasonably should know that the act is offensive to the viewer.
Kansas KSA 21-3508: Lewdness KSA 21-3508, Lewd And Lascivious Behavior. 1. Lewd and lascivious behavior is: (b) the exposure of a sex organ in a public place, or in the presence of a person who is not the spouse of the offender and who has not consented thereto, with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desires of the offender or another.
Kentucky 510.150: Intentional Affront 510.150, Indecent exposure. (1) A person is guilty of indecent exposure when he intentionally exposes his genitals under circumstances in which he knows or should know his conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm.
Louisiana 14:106: Lewdness, Intentional Affront 14:106, Obscenity. A. The crime of obscenity is the intentional: (1) Exposure of the genitals, pubic hair, anus, vulva, or female breast nipples in any public place or place open to the public view with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appeals to prurient interest or is patently offensive.
Maine Title 17-A: Sexual Conduct, Intentional Affront Title 17-A, Chap. 35, Sec. 854, Indecent conduct. 1. A person is guilty of indecent conduct if: A. In a public place: (1) The actor engages in a sexual act, as defined in section 251; or (2) The actor knowingly exposes the actor's genitals under circumstances that, in fact, are likely to cause affront or alarm; B. In a private place, the actor exposes the actor's genitals with the intention that the actor be seen from a public place or from another private place; or C. In a private place, the actor exposes the actor's genitals with the intention that the actor be seen by another person in that private place under circumstances that the actor knows are likely to cause affront or alarm.

Penalty for certain offenses. . . . and persons guilty of indecent exposure may be punished by imprisonment in a jail or house of correction for not more than six months, or by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Michigan *** Section 750.335a:  750.335a Any person who shall knowingly make any open or indecent exposure of his or her person or of the person of another is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1 year, or by a fine of not more than $1,000.00, or if such person was at the time of the said offense a sexually delinquent person, may be punishable by imprisonment for an indeterminate term, the minimum of which shall be 1 day and the maximum of which shall be life: Provided, That any other provision of any other statute notwithstanding, said offense shall be triable only in a court of record.
Minnesota 617.23: Lewdness 617.23, Indecent exposure. (a) A person is guilty of a misdemeanor who in any public place, or in any place where others are present: (1) willfully and lewdly exposes the person's body, or the private parts thereof; (2) procures another to expose private parts; or (3) engages in any open or gross lewdness or lascivious behavior, or any public indecency other than behavior specified in clause (1) or (2) or this clause.

(1) A person who, for the purpose of arousing or gratifying the person's own sexual desire or the sexual desire of any person, exposes the person's genitals under circumstances in which the person knows the conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm commits the offense of indecent exposure.
Nebraska 28-806: Sexual Conduct, Intentional Affront, Lewdness 28-806, Public indecency. (1) A person, eighteen years of age or over, commits public indecency if such person performs or procures, or assists any other person to perform, in a public place and where the conduct may reasonably be expected to be viewed by members of the public: (a) An act of sexual penetration; or (b) An exposure of the genitals of the body done with intent to affront or alarm any person; or (c) A lewd fondling or caressing of the body of another person of the same or opposite sex.
Nevada 201.21: Lewdness 201.210, Open or gross lewdness: 1. A person who commits any act of open or gross lewdness is guilty: (a) For the first offense, of a gross misdemeanor. . . .

New Hampshire 645:1: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness, Intentional Affront 645:1, Indecent Exposure and Lewdness. A person is guilty of a misdemeanour if he fornicates, exposes his genitals or performs any other act of gross lewdness under circumstances which he should know will likely cause affront or alarm.
New Jersey 2C:14-4: Lewdness, Intentional Affront 2C:14-4, Lewdness. a. A person commits a disorderly persons offense if he does any flagrantly lewd and offensive act which he knows or reasonably expects is likely to be observed by other nonconsenting persons who would be affronted or alarmed. c. As used in this section: ``lewd acts'' shall include the exposing of the genitals for the purpose of arousing or gratifying the sexual desire of the actor or of any other person.
New Mexico *** 30-9-14 30-9-14, Indecent exposure. A. Indecent exposure consists of a person knowingly and intentionally exposing his primary genital area to public view. B. As used in this section, ``primary genital area'' means the mons pubis, penis, testicles, mons veneris, vulva or vagina.
New York 245.00: Lewdness, Intentional Affront 245.00, Public lewdness. A person is guilty of public lewdness when he intentionally exposes the private or intimate parts of his body in a lewd manner or commits any other lewd act (a) in a public place, or (b) in private premises under circumstances in which he may readily be observed from either a public place or from other private premises, and with intent that he be so observed.
  245.01, Exposure of a person. A person is guilty of exposure if he appears in a public place in such a manner that the private or intimate parts of his body are unclothed or exposed. For purposes of this section, the private or intimate parts of a female person (People v. Santorelli limits this to commercial situations) shall include that portion of the breast which is below the top of the areola. This section shall not apply to the breastfeeding of infants or to any person entertaining or performing in a play, exhibition, show or entertainment.
North Carolina *** Sec. 14-190.9:  Sec. 14-190.9, Indecent exposure. (a) Any person who shall willfully expose the private parts of his or her person in any public place and in the presence of any other person or persons, of the opposite sex, or aids or abets in any such act, or who procures another to perform such act; or any person, who as owner, manager, lessee, director, promoter or agent, or in any other capacity knowingly hires, leases or permits the land, building, or premises of which he is owner, lessee or tenant, or over which he has control, to be used for purposes of any such act, shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.
North Dakota Sec. 12.1-20-12.1: Intentional Affront, Masterbation Sec. 12.1-20-12.1. Indecent exposure. A person shall be guilty of a class B misdemeanor for: 1. Knowingly exposing one's penis, vulva, or anus in a public place with the intent to annoy or harass another person. 2. Masturbating in a public place.

Oregon 163.465: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness 163.465, Public indecency. (1) A person commits the crime of public indecency if while in, or in view of, a public place the person performs: (a) An act of sexual intercourse; or (b) An act of deviate sexual intercourse; or (c) An act of exposing the genitals of the person with the intent of arousing the sexual desire of the person or another person.

Title 18 Section 3127, Indecent Exposure. (a) Offense defined.--A person commits indecent exposure if that person exposes his or her genitals in any public place or in any place where there are present other persons under circumstances in which he or she knows or should know that this conduct is likely to offend, affront or alarm. (b) Grading.--If the person knows or should have known that any of the persons present are less than 16 years of age, indecent exposure under subsection (a) is a misdemeanor of the first degree. Otherwise, indecent exposure under subsection (a) is a misdemeanor of the second degree.
  Title 18 Section 5901, Open lewdness. A person commits a misdemeanor of the third degree if he does any lewd act which he knows is likely to be observed by others who would be affronted or alarmed.
Rhode Island Sec. 11-45-1: Intentional Affront Sec. 11-45-1, Disorderly Conduct. (a) A person commits disorderly conduct if he or she intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly: (7) Exposes his or her genitals to the view of others under circumstances in which his or her conduct is likely to cause affront, distress, or alarm to such other persons. (RI has no specific statute on Indecent Exposure.)

South Dakota 22-24-1: Intentional Affront 22-24-1, Indecent exposure. Any person who intentionally and with an immoral purpose exposes his or her genitalia in any place where there is present any person, other than the spouse of the exposer, to be offended or annoyed thereby, is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Utah 76-9-702: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness, Intentional Affront 76-9-702. Lewdness--Gross lewdness. (1) A person is guilty of lewdness if the person under circumstances not amounting to rape, object rape, forcible sodomy, forcible sexual abuse, aggravated sexual assault, or an attempt to commit any of these offenses, performs an act of sexual intercourse or sodomy, exposes his or her genitals or private parts, masturbates, engages in trespassory voyeurism, or performs any other act of lewdness in a public place or under circumstances which the person should know will likely cause affront or alarm to, on, or in the presence of another who is 14 years of age or older.
Vermont Chapter 59, Section 2601: ??? Chapter 59, Section 2601, Lewd and Lascivious Conduct. A person guilty of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior shall be imprisoned not more than five years or fined not more than $300.00, or both.
Virginia 18.2-387 Lewdness (Onsenity) 18.2-387, Indecent exposure. Every person who intentionally makes an obscene display or exposure of his person, or the private parts thereof, in any public place, or in any place where others are present, or procures another to so expose himself, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. No person shall be deemed to be in violation of this section for breastfeeding a child in any public place or any place where others are present.
Washington RCW 9A.88.010: Lewdness (obsenity), Intentional Affront RCW 9A.88.010, Indecent Exposure. (1) A person is guilty of indecent exposure if he intentionally makes any open and obscene exposure of his person or the person of another knowing that such conduct is likely to cause reasonable affront or alarm.
West Virginia 61-8-9: Intentional Affront 61-8-9, Indecent exposure. (a) A person is guilty of indecent exposure when such person intentionally exposes his or her sex organs or anus or the sex organs or anus of another person, or intentionally causes such exposure by another or engages in any overt act of sexual gratification, and does so under circumstances in which the person knows that the conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm.
Wisconsin Section 944.20: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness Section 944.20, Lewd and Lascivious Behavior. Whoever does any of the following is guilty of a Class A misdeamor: (1) Commits an indecent act of sexual gratification with another with knowledge that they are in the presence of others; or (2) Publicly and indecently exposes genitals or pubic area.
  Section 948.10, Exposing genitals or pubic area. (1) Whoever, for purposes of sexual arousal or sexual gratification, causes a child to expose genitals or pubic area or exposes genitals or pubic area to a child is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
Wyoming 6-4-201: Sexual Conduct, Lewdness 6-4-201, Public indecency. (a) A person is guilty of public indecency if, while in a public place where he may reasonably be expected to be viewed by others, he: (i) Performs an act of sexual intrusion, as defined by W.S. 6-2-301(a)(vii); or (ii) Exposes his intimate parts, as defined by W.S. 6- 2-301(a)(ii), with the intent of arousing the sexual desire of himself or another person; or (iii) Engages in sexual contact, as defined by W.S. 6- 2-301(a)(vi), with or without consent, with the intent of arousing the sexual desire of himself or another person.
  6-2-301, Definitions. (ii) ``Intimate parts'' means the external genitalia, perineum, anus or pubes of any person or the breast of a female person;
