My Pivot is simply a male brass compression fitting from an acetelene
torch guage,that is epoxied into the overarm.
The berring and tool holder is a 6"x 3/4"
disc of particle board with a brass fitting
epoxied into it.
The disc-socket assembly is glued to the 14.5" lap with hot pitch.
I use greese in the fitting also.

This shows a close up of the brass compression fitting, available at your local
welders supply for a few dollars.
Also in the picture is an oddball fitting
that could be used for a berring- socket.
