Like The Waters of  A River

How do you know when to alter a decision.
Or when to change a fact.
Could it really have been?
Could you really ever go back?
The fact of the matter could never fade.
And neither could my deepest thoughts you invade.
For I'd proven a liar, if you could only see,
The vulnerabilities that surface inside of me.
To feel the stability of your mind,
Uttering tempting words of wisdom;
Would trigger my heart to find,
a delicate yet comprimising vision.
To allow such thoughts to flourish into such desires;
Thoughts that like time you can't erase,
Conspires such an infiinite road of confusion; one you can't trace.
If only my thoughts were like the waters or a river,
I'd finally be free, for the same thought twice, I'd never see.
