Kyiv (also known as Kiev), a scenic city of close to 3 million people situated on
the Dnipro River, is the bustling capital of Ukraine. Ancient Kievan Rus, which reached
its greatest period of ascendancy during the 11th and 12th centuries, was a center of
trade routes between the Baltic and the Mediterranean. The city of Kyiv and the power
of Kievan Rus were destroyed in 1240 by Mongol invaders and the lands of Kievan Rus
were divided into principalities located to the west and north: Galicia, Volynia, Muscovy
and later, Poland, Lithuania, and Russia. Once a powerful force on the European scene

The Southern coast of Crimea is a narrow (width from one up to 10 kms) coastal strip between pracipitous
mountain slope in height from 500 up to 1500 meters and the sea. Mountains close a coast from northern
winds, forming dry subtropical microclimate. Places where rocks approach directly to the sea. There are
amazing beauty places, in small bays there are wild inaccessible beaches. Excellent place for rest, underwater navigation and a hunt.

they were transformed into sanatoria of the most powerful departments of the USSR. There are the independent
resort centres having unique parks by the area of tens hectare, own beaches, pools, courts etc.Yalta is the
resort centre of Crimea. City of amazing beauty on a coast of Black Sea. For last years Yalta has changed.
Beautiful quay with modern amenities does not inferior to the best European resorts. Quay turn into a big
seaside park, there are a long series of the equipped pebbles beaches on seacoast.
