Dear Merchant,

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. We are a non-profit community based organization that is affiliated with Stockton Unified School District. We assist the local children and their families with cultural and educational activities. We provide food and clothes donations to needing families. We promote higher education to our high school students through 4 scholarships yearly. We also provide cultural understanding by doing dance presentation and organizing two Pow Wows that are free to the public every year.

This year’s 26th Annual Labor Day Pow Wow will be the first ever to be held in downtown Stockton at the Weber Point Event Center. We are planning on making this year’s event bigger and more memorable for ourselves and the Stockton Community. By bringing this event to downtown Stockton we would also like to show Stockton’s rich cultural diversity. There will be Native American arts & crafts, food and dancing for all to enjoy. On Saturday we have a potluck to feed all singers and dancers, but we also invite the public to dine with us.

Our Pow Wow is a three day cultural experience. In order to put on this beautiful cultural event, we are looking for businesses or individuals to help sponsor us. Even though our committee is involved with fund raising all year round, we still need help to reach our budget goals. We are accepting monetary donations in exchange for advertisement spots in event program. Prices are as such: $100 for a full page, $60 for a half page, $40 for a quarter page and $25 for a business card. We will always welcome larger amounts for negotiable offers and any other donation you would like to submit to our committee.

All donations made to this year’s Pow Wow will be acknowledged in our event program. We hope to hear from you soon and would like to thank you ahead of time for your time and effort. We will provide you with our non-profit # for any legal purposes upon request. Again thank you and hope you will come enjoy this year Pow-Wow at the Weber Point Event Center.
