"Unforgettable"
These two endearing people are my Grandparents, my Mothers parents, my "Mammaw and Pappaw".  A more loving couple, I have never known.  They are both deceased now, and missed terribly by all of the family, especially so by my Mother and my Aunt Bonnie, their only living children.
Pappaw stood six foot tall and little Mammaw only five foot.  They truly looked like the proverbial 'Mutt and Jeff' when they stood side by side.  They dearly loved to have their children and grandchildren around, and we all loved it too, especially at Christmas when everyone was at their house!
My Pappaw always called me "Squaw Woman", which of course is a 'politically incorrect' term in todays society, but back then, it was his 'term of endearment' for me because I have so many of the Native American features ... or was it for my native spirit ... or my temper?
hmmm.... ;-)
They were the parents of five very loving children; two boys, three girls:
Herbert Lee, Mabel Virginia, Robert Glenn, Bonnie Lucille and Sue Evelyn, my Mother, the 'baby girl' and 'the baby' of the family.
I deeply miss our days spent together!   They truly are "
Unforgettable"!

This picture is a thumbnail replica of the picture that hung on my Grandparents living room wall for as long as I can remember.  It was beautiful.
My 'Mammaw' was of the Baptist faith and my 'Pappaw' was of the Methodist faith.  Growing up, their children were given their own choice.
