Danny died from complications of Diabetes on May 4, 1998. I have lost my "big brother" from this earth, but he will always live on in my heart. I miss his humor and sharp wit and the beauty that he saw in all the world.
Danny was a wonderful artist and poet. The world has truly lost a most talented and loving man. His eyes saw beauty where most of us wouldn't even think to look, and his God given talent allowed him to put that beauty on canvas so the rest of us could "See the world through Danny's eyes".
Danny was diagnosed with Diabetes in December of 1967, and from that time until his death, most of his days were filled with pain and the agony of what this horrific disease was doing to his body.
Several years before his death in 1998, Danny lost his left eye, his right leg and his kidneys to this devasting disease. Though I miss him terribly, I cling to the knowledge that he is through with the agony that he had to endure here on earth. He is once again 'whole', and he is at peace and suffering no more pain in the arms of Our Heavenly Father.
