Define Irony

Define Irony- The Professor was talking about Huck Finn, a small town hick
like myself, falling in love and having romantic fantasies towards a lovely,
young woman as I finished this poem. -Bill

Today is the day
She wore the dress
Yes, THE DRESS which

Made my eyes pop
Out of my head, Sitting
Directly in front of me

As always, Maybe in
My stupidity, I'll realize
She does it on purpose

So I see the softness
Of her neck,Lovely slope
Of her shoulders, The

Freckles, gently speckled
Across her lightly tanned
Skin, A touch of strawberries

Sprinkled on top vanilla ice
Cream, I watch, I wonder
I catch my breath in the moment

Captivated resplendance
Held within, Not knowing
How beautiful she can be

Bouncing in full of
Cheer, Filled with energy
Sunlight's touch indoors

I tease, She smiles
-One that's worth my
Whole day in itself

A breath of fresh air
In a summer dress just
Took all of mine away
