| It Has No Face by Nathan Cowlishaw There is No Face! There is no tangible entity or thing, It is only but a ghost. It walks the deepest, darkest part of the forest. It wanders inside this earth from mesa to mesa If you look into the eyes of it's face, it is sad, and poor. It cries in it's own mysteries. You cannot get rid of this weary soul that lives forever free. You cannot remove any place from it. You will only lose yourself. Away in a shady sandstone canyon it's voice still wants to be heard. but no one is around to listen, It's own faded image dances, alone in the cold. |
