| The Circle of Life by goeswith3faces He was not a man of words; he was a man of deeds. His heart was full of pain and sorrows. Now it is a stream of destination because of all the injustice and intolerance he had to stand each day. He sits on a rock and his face is painted in the colors of war. He puts on his amulet, a little silver sun-face on a chain. A song of thanks for the gift of life comes over his lips, followed by a song in which he asked Creator for strength to fight his war. The last song is his song of death, in order to let Creator know, that he is on the way. Moments later he sits on his horse and the warm skin of it gives him the rest of confidence, to do what he has to do. He looks a last time back to the glowing remnants that had been the teepee of his family and the dead bodies of his wife and his three children. He wipes away the tears in his eyes. The Rolling block in his hand and the yell of hate is his heart mate, when he breaks through the underbrush into the front line of soldiers. The fight is short. Bullets are coming like hail and makes his body shivering. Blood throbs out of his uncountable wounds and before he and his horse touched the ground; his spirit is gone on the wind. Stars are sparkling in a silent night, when the soldiers laid the bodies of the dead into a common grave. An owl is flying into the night and from far away the wind takes the howling of wolves to the soldiers ears. A native Scout takes an amulet from the neck of a dead warrior; a silver sun-face on a chain. Thousands of miles away and more than hundred years later, a young man sits in his room. He wears his amulet, a silver sun-face on a chain and writes a story about a warrior. He wipes away the tears in his eyes by thinking of the warriors dead wife and kids and his body shivers when he thinks about the bullets that entered the warriors body... No suffering without reason and no story left untold. The way the circle of life forms, are our ways to remember and Creators way to remind We are all relatives.
