Sun Worship

Amidst the sounds of mass confusion,
It seems they knew the way,
From the four points of the compass,
They came that day to pray.

For in praying together,
Their voices were as one,
The sound of which moved on high,
'Twas directed to the sun.

And nature was in unity,
The cosmos high above,
For in sharing some time there,
'Twas a sign of eternal love.

Thus in giving and receiving,
The circulation was complete,
With thoughts of love and feeling joy,
All elements were discrete.

But the harmony and the balance,
Was everwhere to be found,
And the spirits of this world,
Produced not any sound.

Thus between the caring and sharing,
Contentment felt by all,
The satisfaction that comes to man,
The universe did enthrall.

And in returning to the field,
To labor day by day,
The silence of the world about,
Within the mind, portray!
