| How Fortunate We Are by � mycochise Just wanted to share a little sad story with you. Last night I sold my bedroom suite to an older lady, sweet and humble. She was in the July of last year flood that we had here. Lost her home. Her and her husband was trapped inside there home for about 3 hours with water up their necks inside. Her husband was a heart patient and needed an oxygen tank. They couldn't get to it. When finally someone got to them he went into a coma and died the next day. She had been living in a small camper since then until recently she bought an unfurnished double wide. I wanted to just sit down and cry right there. Here this sweet lady had lost everything and was still caring on with an inner strength of a giant. It just makes you think how fortunate you are to have what you do. Sorry to depress everyone today but wanted you to be thankful for what you have not what you don't. |
