| Change by � LouReeves "Hello, hello." You say to me, But I am not the person you think I am, I have changed since yesterday, For now, I am serving Uncle Sam! We all change as days go by, Some for the better, others the worse, And even animals change as well, Like my trusting friend, my horse! The statues of antiquity have also changed. Yet we study the history of time and place, And even recorded history is changed, To suit the occasion, often times base! Now we find man, in mortal state, Faced with infinity and forever. So man is simply a state of change, To recognize this is a blessing, however! Now we are faced with a fresh thought Of values of relationships here on earth, They are everything, as days go by, From romance and love, to conception and birth! Thus we are all a part of history, And as a part, a small part of change. The world will be a better place. For we are here in this exchange! |
