| Memorial Day, Their Special Day by � eaglespirits02 Indian Warriors and Braves Indian Soldiers who died in different wars for different causes Are riding bareback on their horses Some on their painted ponies Coming down the Golden Path from the Great Beyond A Red Carpet has been laid in their Honor Thousands and thousands of Indians of every Tribe Known are riding together Riding with their heads held high With the Pride and Glory they each deserve Soldiers coming from different eras in life, in time From their painted war faces to their camouflage Leather, feathers, moccasins and Army boots Bows and arrows carried on their backs to guns carried on their belts Each and every one is a Hero They are our fighting Soldiers Of the past and now Bringing with them their own unique stories to tell Coming on Memorial Day Saluting their American Indian Flag As we Salute them all Our Indian Soldiers It's a time for a Celebration in remembrance To all of the fallen Soldiers If only everyone could see Could feel their presence as they ride down from the sky Their bold silhouettes will return back to the Great Beyond When the parade is over They will be back next Memorial Day Their Special Day Anne Leach |
