The Sword of Love
by

May I but whet my desires
upon your stone of beauty.
That I may pierce the inner
sanction of tranquillity.

May passions flame temper
true the sword of flesh.
Burnish the engraved
words of my heart.

Your scabbard protect
our love eternal.
Tis not a mantel piece,
but one of undying devotion.

May our quest be filled
with honour unto each other.
Lead me down your path of riches
that I might be wealthy and
worthy of your dreams.
