Anchored their Hogan to mountains 4 in corners, sacred and holding secrets, medicine for pain. Though Canadian drifters, they believed this their home, their ancestral beginning deep within the earth. First spirits rose one after the other, preparing their future home and giving it new birth. A southwestern culture making homes in mountain sides, dwellings in a cliff face, Pueblitos off the ground. Houses hewn from rocky faces, caves of building structure, they'd offer protection from intruding elements around. A sacred medicine bundle few know of its inception, the hide of special deer, no weapons being used. The roping of the antlers and smothered down with pollen, gathered from the mountains, their boundaries of recluse. Dwelling mountain spirits gave up pollen and other herbs, to fill the medicine bundle along with earth from the regions. This a close protection and a blessing pouch they carried, sprinkled on the sick and wounded or events of other legions.
