Song of Windspirit
by

Staring at the rocks below
maiden in a trauma.
Her lost love in battle,
her minds peace decision.

The wind softly spoke
from the rocky crags below.
Return to your people,
carry love in your heart.

Live your life the fullest,
give thanks to Creator.
Honor he has left you,
his memory carried on.

The rocks will not remember
your bodies broken heart.
Rain Spirit will wash away
the pain of your remains.

The waste of your descendant
the mountain does not care.
Immortal though the legend
you may leave behind.

Thoughts now contemplate
a step back in time.
Shear walls echo screams
the silence now is broken.

Wind Spirit shed a tear as
he watched the infant flailing.
The mountain heard his cries
and listened with intent.

Her anger now at peace
the sunlight on her face.
The infant child suckles
quietly at her breast.
