Rose Storm
by
chibilunacat

In the background is the sound of bells
Ringing loud and sweet
We become swept up in rose petals
Whirlwinding up from beneath our feet.

We shall dance in the storm of petals
Soft and silky to the touch
Laughing in pure merriment of bliss
Treasuring the moments as grateful and such.

The petals are twirling inside this place
Much like being inside a snow dome
Someone is shaking things, watching it swirl
As we dance farther on, inside our glass home.

The petals of roses, red and deep black
Fall around our pale bodies like snowflakes,
A controlled little storm causing no harm
Just a falling of beauty whenever the dome shakes.

Delighted we sing, along with the bells
Holding each others hands in our own
Twirling up high, with the soft flurry of petals,
Awakened from slumber by ringing of phone.
