Legends of Magic

What stary skies of thunder told
Of a thousand battles to unfold
Where magic must be sent to mend
A land the battlers must defend.

A gateway to heaven, and a gateway to hell
Where many men fought, and fell
Power that the mind must lend
To a place where peoples feet decend.

The weary of mind, and weary of heart,
Sunrises of another bloody day to start.
Maidens of death, with graves to tend.
To the earth, their blood and tears to send.

Nurture the magic of light at dusk,
Slain by an ivory elephant tusk
Only more suffering to aprehend
Death is all to much a new trend.

But one man to stand against them all,
Who will never in a battle fall,
And enemy to some, to others a friend
Joined by others to make war end.

And in the days which legends spring
The breezes stop, to silence bring,
Where magic and war does now blend,
For good or evil to defend.

The only thing left for the heros to do,
Is spread peace and happiness for us anew.
And in the times the gods decend,
We only wish for the pain to end.

In the last battle, no good should fall
The peacefull stars shine both large and small
The power that the mind did lend,
Now has a broken world to mend.

Forgotten battles where many passed on
Grass covers over, and becons dawn.
Many graves stand, for maidens to tend,
They become lost in time with no message to send.

Will the people make the same mstakes again?
With new corruption rising, creating new sin,
One small group will finght to the end,
And stop fair tragedy, and life defend,
So sufferings footsteps never desend.
Legends of magic, and ear to lend.
