| Awaken The Flowers by chibilunacat I went to the forest To find a lily fair, But what did I find When I got there? A sleeping princess, With raven black hair. Pale creamy skin And thin fairy wings Sleeping with the beauty That mother nature brings. I wanted her to awaken So I could tell her these things. "Awake sleeping princess Let your eyes stare into mine, Awaken so I can bless thee with The finest foods and wine. Awaken beautiful princess Show me a waking sign." I wish to love with every breath, And touch with such care Her beauty could withstand any Silken lily fair, Allow me to run my fingers Through your raven hair. A feast I have With my two eyes Awaken Princess Oh my pleading cries Awaken and allow me dear To ease all of your sighs. I wish to kiss her ruby lips And adorn her with a rose For a taste of her pure love I'd sever all my toes But if the princess does not awaken, She'll fill my sadness and all of my woes! So awaken sweet sleeping beauty, Please return my love, Stir your sleep, upon you eyes You pretty little dove. Lay in my arms peacefully While stars shine from above. And as I look, with wondering eyes I surely begein to see- Her eyes do flutter, her arms move She sets her gaze on me! When sh breathes its like the breeze, Rustling every tree. She sits up straight, But backs away Afraid of what she sees On this beautiful day- I beg you sweet princess, I only wish you to stay! She rises up above the ground, Her hair flows with the breeze- She rests upon one of the branches, In one of the many trees. "Please do not leave my fair Princess" I beg while on my knees. She smiles down, her gentle way- The stars are in her eyes, She waves her hand and flowers bloom- With a thousand butterflies! And disappears without a word, Leaving a thousand wonder whys..... But one flower stands among the rest, One that brought me here this day- A silken lily stands alone, But in my heart some way, I caught a glimpse of my true love- But will it ever stay? And as I turn to go on home, Sadness fills my every thought, A teacher and a lesson I wish I wasn't taught. Love can fade like a flower So hold it while its caught. And as I step away from pain A perfume I begin to smell- And call my name, the lips of a princess Who today in sleep she fell. Sitting in a beautiful garden, With trees and secrets to tell. And as her lips pressed against mine, Her wings did fall away, And her heart she gave to me, Upon this beautiful day, Ands thats my tale of one true love- And there is nothing more to say. |
