Our Land
by
cherokee_thorn

Our land will never
fill your greed.
Creator shant
fill your wants.

Our blood has
fed the grass.
Our daughters have
filled your needs.

Our starving wails fill the
air we can not breathe.
The stench of ignorance
in classrooms of decay.

Our numbers now grow from
death, defeat, and abandon.
An unwilling suicide of our
people saved our nation.

The one thing you can not
take is our pride.
We are taking that and
destroying ourselves.

These drugs and spirits are
but a moment of forgiveness.
Let your hearts and souls
lead you back into our fold.

Rise up my brothers,
follow me my sisters.
Let us rekindle flames
of our heritage.
