| Eagle and The Wolf by blue_panther High in the mountains where the eagles do fly sat another. Peace lay between them for it is written that they are Brothers. The eagle sails the wind seeing all that is below. All things appear in miniature but this is normal for I fly high and the sky is mine. In the distance sits my brother on a rock over looking his domain, it is as wild to him as he is to it, but that is well. As I approach, he sits on a rock four leg's has he and his coat is gray, and is of a lone breed, few are left and I am proud to be the brother the of the Gray Wolf. So say I the mountain eagle. Here I sit on a rock looking over the valley where I roam. In the sky my brother flies at times I fly with him, then other times he prowls with me. To get to where we meet is a long trip. I walk over rock, trees and across the water. In the morning through dew wet grass I stroll, the moisture clings to my coat. Up the mountain I climb over rocks and across ledges. All but the shadow cat and the eagle fear me. I am a wolf and a proud breed. When I sit on the rock and watch my brother fly. We know we are brothers and we are one. So say I the Wolf.
