Qu Kim to Atlanta, Replacing Luis Praft
(5-8-09) After six seasons, all with 30+ points in Miami, Qu Kim is heading a little north to replace former-Captain Luis Praft. Kim signed a five season deal worth 30 mill. Kim will be the veteran presents the Classic need, yet how long will he last in Atlanta, before retirement. With fear of folding as a franchise, Atlanta hopes to burst back onto the scene, and change peoples opinons about the Classic.
Atlanta, Praft era over, changes begin
(3-21-09) The trade of Luis Praft to Atlanta was a clear sign of the new direction of Atlanta who had their worst record since the 8.0 season. Praft making five million was the end of an era in Atlanta, as Atlanta's Captain for three seasons. Praft's dealing has Atlanta gain four million in cap space, a new top prospect to start a rebuilding minor league system, and Terry Taylor to help this season, and maybe further into the future.

Atlanta the city of winners? Well today they are as Luis Praft won his second Backup of the Season award, first with Atlanta. On top of that Tafi Fabio wins his long-awaited Relief of the Season award. Many didn't realize the great seasons, which was masked by the franchises rough season. |
