Callups: Keystones calls Sung up, finally (4-7-09) Philadelphia started the 14.0 Callup season with a long awaited bang, calling up Lee Ji Sung at the age of 28. Sung with backup Relief Robb Glaus for the 14.0 and most likely taking the reins in 15.0, or if Glaus is traded, earlier. Charles Rittenhouse at Closer also stockpiles Philadelphia at the 'back-three' positions, yet have plenty of holes to fill at S-A-M with their 13 mill in cap they still have.
Dave W to run Philadelphia as 2nd club (1-30-09) Longtime manager Dave Wright, Kings Cup Champion of the 1.0 Phantom, and 3.0 Demons, was awarded Philadelphia as his second squad. Dave had never worked two squads, but an interest of changing franchises has been a thought. This might be the first step two the a new future for Philadelphia and Dave.
Stevesson signs cheap to play in Philly (10-26-08) Last week St. Louis parted ways with their second string Starter who was paid higher then their first string Starter. One week later, Philadelphia offered a low bid, and with not much other interest from other clubs, Stevesson took the offer to play the last 10 weeks with the Keystones, and is excited to be the number one Starter on the club. |
