"Listen to your heart, it knows what you´re feeling, nobody else but you makes the decisions"
The Swedish Final was held at the Musikteater in Malmö on 23rd February, hosted by Josefine Sundström and Henrik Olsson. Josefine was a member of the group Ai who sang "Bilder av dig" in the 1999 Swedish Final. The winner was chosen by 11 regional juries (50%) and televoting (50%) - both of which were won by Friends.

Friends previously came 2nd equal in last years Swedish Final. At the Eurovision they sang their song in English as "Listen to your heartbeat" and came 5th. Jan Johansen represented Sweden in 1995.
