The Dutch National Final was held on March 14th at the Dutch TV studios in Hilversum, hosted by Paul de Leeuw and Linda de Mol. The winner was chosen by a mixture of televoting and an "expert" jury, each of which had a 50% weighting. At the Eurovision, Marlayne came 8th equal.
