The Maltese Semi-Final was held at the Malta Fairs & Convention Centre in Ta' Qali on January 24th, hosted by John Demanuele, Ruth Sammut Casingena & Chiara who represented Malta in ESC 1998 & 2005. An "expert" jury chose 8 songs to qualify for the final.
