"Believe in....(peace)" - Times Three
The Maltese Final was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on the 19th & 20th of February, hosted by Mariella Scerri & Joseph Chetcuti, who was a member of the group Orion that took part in the 1998 Maltese Final. The winner was chosen by an "expert" jury (one of whom was the presenter of the Slovene final Mojca Mavec).

Times Three came 15th at the ESC, where their backing singers were Moira Stafrace & Chris Scicluna who represented Malta in ESC 1994. Georgina and Paul Giordimaina represented Malta in ESC 1991. Georgina was also a backing singer for Malta in 1996.
