"Without your love" - Gary O'Shaughnessy
The Irish final was held on February 25th at the RTE TV Studios in Dublin, hosted by Louise Loughman. The winner was chosen by regional televoting, however had the winner been chosen by the number of televotes cast for each song then InFocus would have won as they received 13356 votes, just ahead of Fe-Mail with 12271. Gary O'Shaughnessy only came 3rd with 11653, but still managed to win because of the regional televoting system used.
