Kristján Gíslason previously came 2nd & 10th in the 1991 Icelandic Final. Eyjólfur Kristjánsson represented Iceland in 1991 and was a backing singer for Iceland in 1994, 1995 and 2000. Rúna G. Stefánsdóttir was a backing singer for Selma in the 1999 ESC. Kristján & Gunnar performed as Two Tricky at the ESC where they came 22nd equal with the English version of the song "Angel".
