"My number one" - Elena Paparizou
The Greek Final was held at the Fever Music Center in Athens on March 2nd, hosted by Alexandra Pascalidou. Elena Paparizou sang all the songs and the winner was chosen by televoting (60%) and an "expert" jury (40%) - "My number one" was the favourite with both. One of the members of the "expert" jury was Zeljko Joksimovic who represented Serbia & Montenegro in ESC 2004.

Elena previously represented Greece in the 2001 ESC in the group Antique. She went on to win ESC 2005 where one of her backing singers was Alex Panayi who represented Cyprus in 1995 and 2000.
