The Finnish Final was held on January 24th at the Tampere Talo, hosted by Maria Guzenina, Bettina Sågbom and Antero Mertaranta. Before the final, there were two semi-finals - click here for details: FINNISH SEMI-FINALS 2004 The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting. In the first round, 6 regional juries voted on the songs, and the top 6 were performed again before the winner was chosen by televoting.

Iina & Gary Riikka

Jari Sillanpää previously came 2nd in the 1998 Finnish Final. At the ESC Semi-Final he came 14th.
Gary (Revel jr.) was a backing singer for Finland in ESC 2002.
Riikka was a backing singer for Finland in ESC 1996 and went on to be a backing singer for Jari Sillanpää at the ESC Semi-Final.
