"Everybody" - Dave Benton, Tanel Padar & 2XL
The Estonian Final was held on February 3rd in Tallinn, hosted by Marko Reikop & Elektra. The winning song was chosen by an international jury of 8 "experts" - Marlain who represented Cyprus in 1999, Jørgen Olsen who won last years Eurovision for Denmark, Swedish ESC conductor Anders Berglund, Moshe Datz who represented Israel in 1991, Linda Martin who won the 1992 Eurovision for Ireland, Michael Leggo from the BBC, Mannfred Britt from Germany and Bo Halldorsson who represented Iceland in 1995.

Tanel Padar was a backing singer for Ines in the 2000 Eurovision, as was Maiken - one of the members of Soul Control (along with Lauri Pihlap, Asja Kristofor & Nele-Liis Vaiksoo). Maian Kärmas was a backing singer for Evelin Samuel in the 1999 Eurovision. Dave Benton, Tanel Padar & 2XL went on to win the 2001 Eurovision.
