The Albanian Final was on December 20th at the Palace of Congress in Tirana, hosted by Adi Krasta and Ledina Celo. The finalists were chosen in two semi-finals - click here for details of the semi-finals: ALBANIAN SEMI-FINALS 2004 The winner was chosen by a mixture of televoting (50%) and an "expert" jury (50%). The top 5 were announced (in no specific order) before the top 3 were revealed - the other performers in the top 5 were Rudi & Ingrid Jushi and Kujtim Prodani.

The winning song was performed in English as "The image of you" at the Eurovision, where Anjeza Shahini came 7th. Amongst Anjeza's backing singers at the ESC were Arbër Arapi, Klajdi Musabelli & Rosela Gjylbegu.
