"Mikado" - Simone Drexel
The Swiss Final was held on February 21st at the TSR TV Studios in Geneva, hosted by Heidi Arbel, Maschia Cantoni & Claude Evelyn. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 3 regional juries, a press jury and a jury of "experts". Instead of awarding the songs points, they were given rankings, hence why the song with the lowest score won.

Simone Drexel came 6th at the Eurovision. Peter, Sue & Marc had represented Switzerland in 1971.
