The Norwegian Final was held at the Château Neuf in Oslo on March 26th, hosted by Dan Børge Akerø. Before the final there were 4 semi-finals - click here for details: NORWEGIAN SEMI-FINALS 1988. The winner was chosen by the votes of 7 regional juries.

Karoline Krüger went on to come 5th at the ESC, where Tor Endresen & Elisabeth Moberg were amongst her backing singers. Jahn Teigen represented Norway in ESC 1978, 1982 & 1983.
