"Mil etter mil" - Jahn Teigen

The Norwegian Final was held on March 18th at the NRK TV Studios in Oslo, hosted by Egil Teige. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 9 "experts" who awarded the songs rankings rather than points, hence why the song with the lowest score won.

Jahn Teigen had previously taken part in the Norwegian Finals of 1974, 1975 and 1976. Anita Skorgan represented Norway in 1977. At the Eurovision, Jahn came last with 'nul' points.
