"Cross your heart" - Tina

The Irish Final was held on February 10th at the RTE TV Studios in Dublin, hosted by Mike Murphy.  All of the songs were sung by Tina Reynolds, and the winner was chosen by postcard voting.

Tina had already come 3rd in both the 1968 and 1972 Irish Finals.  She was also very close to representing Ireland in 1973, as when Maxi threatened not to sing "Do I dream" at the Eurovision because she didn't like the new arrangement of the song, Tina was flown in to Luxembourg just in case Maxi refused to take part.  It's because of this that she was chosen to sing all the songs in the Irish Final.
