"Verão" - Carlos Mendes
The Portuguese Final was held on March 4th at the Estúdio da Tóbis in Lisbon, hosted by Maria Fernanda & Henrique Mendes. The winner was chosen by the votes of 18 regional juries.

Carlos Mendes was equal 11th at the ESC. António Calvário represented Portugal in 1964, while Simone de Oliveira did the same in 1965.
