"Laiskotellen" - Lasse Mårtenson
The Finnish Final was held on February 15th at the YLE TV Studios in Helsinki, hosted by Aarno Walli. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 10 regional juries and an "expert" jury who both agreed on the winner. Lasse Mårtenson came 7th in the Eurovision. He had previously come 2nd in the 1963 Finnish Final. Irmeli Mäkelä was the original winner of the 1963 Finnish Final, even though she was replaced in the Eurovision by Laila Halme.
